Which line will YOU choose? 📖🖤

Sandwiched between some of my favourites…🥹✨😍

Dormara is about nightmares, purging them, but also facing them head on. The Aula Requiem and The Sombre are two of those rooms, acting as mirrors to the soul… and as Serena soon finds out, there’s no escape from yourself.

If you enjoyed Mexican Gothic, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, and Never Let Me Go, then Dormara will be up your alley! 😍

It is a gothic romance novel at its heart, but like Never Let Me Go, I wanted to explore some current issues relating to Artificial Intelligence, sentience, (the morality of it at least), in a society like ours that is constantly advancing & searching for something ‘new.’ ✨

There’s some deep topics here, so I’d be so interested to know your thoughts.

Do you have a favourite Spring read? 📚✨

If not, what are you all reading or watching over this long Easter weekend? 🐣

You voted for florals when I shared my black leather-bounds and their board pages! 🌸 I can’t wait to share more with you soon 👀

We are fortunate to live next to a lot of parks and wildflowers, and I made a little 🐞 friend on my walk ~ scroll down to see my morning blooms! 🌱 if you’d like me to share my daily moments and more chatty style posts let me know down below and I’ll try my best! (Let’s be honest IG isn’t the best place for this & I’d love to document the seasons change a bit more) ☺️

Let’s talk Manor houses!

Happy Thursday friends! It’s been a while, but I’m finally back after being a bit under the weather, (winter germs are really no joke), bringing you some more quotes from my new novel ‘Tales from the Manor’!

I’ve visited a fair few stately homes of my own since, which I have decided to share with you below! The Wallace Collection and some gems tucked away in the heart of London. Certainly reminiscent of Violet’s Windsor Suite, (blue room) and stained glass windows from the library you’ll find in our very own Hartshaw Manor. ❤

I’ve been figuring out how best to get my novel out to you all, to answer your questions, open discussions and keep producing fun content for you on here (and over on Instagram!) Let me know your thoughts! 🙂

If you’re up for some suspenseful, psychological tales set in atmospheric houses deep in the English countryside (with a touch of mystery) then look no further! Here is the link to find them below. Enjoy friends, and of course, if you do end up picking it up, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Here, on IG, or over on Goodreads!

Have a great day and stay safe as always x

Home of the Book Stack

On this chilly, wintry Monday afternoon, what better way to celebrate all things cosy than with a book stack? If any of you follow my Instagram you’ll know I like to create (sometimes precariously tall!👀) leather bound stacks, and most recently, vintages (which, can also pose a risk as they’re all different sizes and weights!) 📚 Beware candles (and noses!) 🕯🐽

Here’s a selection that made it over the years. Which is your favourite? Vote below!

If you have any questions about any of the books above then feel free to drop a comment or use the contact me page, and I’ll be happy to answer them! And especially for you vintage lovers, some of the titles may also be up for grabs (tab above)!

Stay warm and safe friends, until next time 🙂
